A graduate of Savannah State University,

The Ohio State University and the University of South Carolina. 

 

A former associate artist with the Opera Columbus Company(OH) and Columbus Light Opera (OH), Dr. Blalock has been adjudicated as an Approved Artist for the state of South Carolina and currently serves on the Music faculty of South Carolina State University. 

 

As a solo artist, her repertoire includes Bach's Magnificant, Vivaldi's Gloria, Handel's Messiah, Haydn's Creation, Mozart's Requiem, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, Brahms' Requiem, Rutter's Magnificat and the Requiem, and Poulenc's Gloria.
